WILDLIFE CONSERVATION VIDEOGRAPHER
The Wildlife Garden Project is a not-for-profit initiative I founded to inspire people across the UK to support wildlife in their gardens and green spaces. What began as a passion project has grown into a thriving online platform, complete with educational films, campaigns, and a growing community of engaged supporters.
Through the project, I’ve had the chance to apply everything I know about video storytelling, audience building, and content strategy. This unique perspective means I truly understand the challenges that mission-led organisations face, and I bring this insight into every film I make for charities, CICs and community organisations.
About the Wildlife Garden Project
The Wildlife Garden Project is all about making wildlife-friendly gardening accessible and inspiring for everyone whether they have a small patio, a community plot, or a suburban garden. We create free online tutorial videos, run seasonal campaigns, and produce engaging social content to educate and encourage action. I founded the project in 2010 before registering as a CIC in 2021. Since then, the Wildlife Garden Project has built a loyal and growing following, and continues to collaborate with experts, communities and wildlife charities to reach more people and make more impact.
MY EXPERIENCE
I’ve produced a whole host of in-depth tutorial films on a range of topics for the Wildlife Garden Project, as well as short, attention grabbing reels for social media. Alongside the everyday running of the business and the filmmaking, I also manage our social media channels and work collaboratively with my team members Tina, Ellie and Tom on our campaigns.
This experience as a wildlife conservation videographer and CIC Director has shaped the way I work with my clients. I’ve learnt how to break down complex information into clear, compelling content as well as how to maximise impact with limited resources. I’m proud to have grown the Wildlife Garden Project’s audience organically through consistent video storytelling, and I’d love to help you do the same.
